It is only when the chips are ordered that a specific format – Illustrator, Correl, or Photoshop – is required at the size of 340x340 pixels at 340 DPI.

The pictures can be accompanied by text as well. It just be included on the design. The inlays are actually printed on the poker chips. They are not stickers that go in the middle. They also are scratch resistant vinyl with a waterproof coating.

If a design is not wanted on the inlay, there is also hotstamping. Hotstamping allows the denomination or up to three characters to be printed on a poker chip. Hotstamping can be done on either one side or both sides of a poker chip. The denomination and the three characters (such as initials) can even be printed on each side of a poker chip.

The denominations available for print are 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, 50¢, $1, $2, $2.50, $3, $5, $10, $20, $25, $50, $100, $500, $1000, $5000, and $10000.
